The Bedford Center for the Arts second Open Studios is on Nov. 7 and 8. The BCA is looking for interested artists to offer their work for exhibit and sale, and meet other artists in the community. Artists living or working in Bedford are invited to exhibit and sell their work in their studios or share space with other artists. The successful April 2009 Open Studios had over 30 artists participating throughout town with great public participation.

For all those railroad aficionados, the Bedford Budd Rail Diesel Car #6211 is available for rental for meetings and parties. It is located at 120 South Road, at the corner of Loomis Street, and at the end of the Minuteman Bikeway. During a renovation of the rail car, a platform was constructed to access the freight house where refreshments and memorabilia are sold. Also, as a part of the renovation, rest rooms were added at the rear of the freight house and are available for renters of the rail car.
